My hat's off to Pamela L. Gregg (``What is was like in one woman's Navy,'' letter, Dec. 28). She said it quite well: that women are just as capable as men in the military service and should be recognized as such. Many women sacrifice their roles as mothers and wives to serve their country as earnestly as any man does.
