NEW BUSINESSES

The Norfolk law firm of Willcox & Savage has opened an office at One Columbus Center in Virginia Beach. William W. Harrison Jr., Kevin L. Keller, and T. Scott McGraw will transfer from the Norfolk office to Virginia Beach. Also, Glenn R. Croshaw, formerly of Croshaw Beale Hauser & Lewis, will join Willcox & Savage in Virginia Beach. Harrison and Croshaw will head the new office.

Stanley Adams Fine Printing and Stationery has opened at 1642 Thoroughgood Commons on Pleasure House Road in Virginia Beach. This is the second location for the Arlington-based company owned by Mark Garrison.

HONORS, AWARDS

Ad-Ventures Advertising Inc. in Virginia Beach received two gold, one silver and two bronze awards from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International in its Adrian awards competition for 1995.

The Virginia Oil Men's Association named Donald B. Allen Jr., president of E.T. Lawson & Son in Hampton, as the 1995 oil man of the year for his work with the Virginia Petroleum Jobbers Association's promotion of oil heat activities.

CONTRACTS

W.M. Jordan Co. Inc. in Newport News received a $13 million contract for an Oceanography and Physical Sciences building at Old Dominion University in Norfolk.

Hoy Construction Inc. in Norfolk received a $13.3 million contract for university library addition and renovation at Old Dominion University.

E.V. Williams Co. Inc. in Norfolk received a $929,277 contract for Shell/Galberry Road improvements in Chesapeake.

Oyster Point Construction Co. in Newport News received a $3.6 million contract for King and Queen County Courts and Administration building in King/Queen City. Oyster Point also received a $2.3 million contract for the Deer Park Elementary School renovations in Newport News.
