Mildred C. Lowe, 80, died Jan. 7, 1996, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Lowe was born in Bertie County, N.C., and was the widow of Edward C. Lowe. She was a member of Woodlawn Heights Baptist Church and the Indian River Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Cecelia Walker of Chesapeake and Ramona Humphries of Moyock, N.C.; three sons, Edward C. Lowe Jr. of Chesapeake, Robert J. Lowe of Windsor, N.C., and Charles B. Lowe of Moyock, N.C.; two sisters, Margaret Langston of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Viola Early of Bellhaven, N.C.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Vic Ramsey in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
