EDMOND S. TURNER

Edmond Scott Turner, 52, of the 4000 block of Whitman Lane, died Jan. 2, 1996, in his residence.

He was a mechanic for Exxon and was a native of Alabama. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve in Virginia Beach.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie ``Penny'' Turner; a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Turner of Virginia Beach; a son, Dennis Lee Turner of Newport News; two sisters, Bobbie Jean Sanders of Atlanta, Ga., and Kaye Turner of Forest Park, Ga.; and a brother, Pat Turner of Stone Mountain, Ga.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial will be private.
