Bobby R. Robinson, 65, of the 1500 block of Basie Crescent, died Jan. 6, 1996.
Mr. Robinson was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 30 years. He was an usher for Zion Baptist Church, Portsmouth. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Goldie Robinson; two daughters, Phyllis Stanton and Cheryl Tennessee; a son, Michael Robinson; two sisters, Eloise Edwards and Jean Morris; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Patricia Coker-Bell in Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo
