Richard L. Dark, 43, of 665 S. 3rd, died Jan. 6, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Dark was born on Oct. 9, 1952, in Indiana and was a resident of Salina for four years. He attended Salina Vo-Tech and was a member of Emmanuel Foursquare Gospel Church of Salina. He was the Salina Area Vo-Tech's Business Professionals of America Chapter president and was very active in the Vo-Tech.
He is survived by his father, Richard Bruce Dark of South Bend, Ind.; stepfather, Earl Marinko of Salina; a brother, Eric Marinko of Shalimar, Fla.; two sisters, Michelle Marinko Salazar of Bennington, Kan., and Cheryl Marinko Walters of Salina. He was predeceased by his mother, Alice Marinko, in 1992.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Loren Houltberg at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron, Salina, Kan. 67401. A private inurnment will be held at the Gymsum Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Salina Food Bank or to the Richard L. Dark Memorial Fund or the Feed the Children Foundation.
