Charles Mahlon Saunders, 94, died Friday, Jan. 5, 1996, at his home.
Born in Baltimore, he had retired after 46 years as the postmaster of Milford.
Survivors include three sons, Charles M. Saunders Jr. of Franklin, William G. Saunders of Lexington, and Richard L. Saunders of Bowling Green; half-sister, Mary Campbell Cook of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of the Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with the Rev. Dan Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn with Masonic service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bowling Green Rescue Squad or the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund.
