Queenie Ester Thomas, of the 1100 block of Holt St. died Jan. 7, 1996.
She was a native of Greenville, N.C., and retired from NationsBank.
Survivors include four daughters, Renee King, Wendy Hall, Christine Alsberry and Patricia Thomas, all of Norfolk; four sons, Ronnie Thomas of California, Eugene Thomas and Donna Thomas, both of Norfolk, and Alex Thomas of Cookville, Tenn.; her father, Cecil Brockett of Norfolk; two sisters, Delois Batts and Betty Copeland of Norfolk; a brother, David Wideman of Norfolk; a dear beloved friend, Mr. Larry Haskins; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Thomas of Hampton, and Jamie Thomas of Cookville; and two sons-in-law, Micheal Hall of Kings Bay, Ga., and Ernest King of Norfolk. She was predeceased by her mother, Emma W. Brockett.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Good News Worship Center by the Rev. Levi Willis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
