WILLIAM M. TILLERY

William M. Tillery, of the 3900 block of Sun Stream Parkway, died Jan. 7, 1996, in a local nursing home.

Mr. Tillery, a retired material sorter, worked for the Naval Supply Center. He was a native of Tillery, N.C., and a member of Lynnhaven Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Millie J. Tillery; six daughters, Ruth Barrett, Annie R. Fuller, Delia Holloway, Ophelia Nesbitt, Cecelia Rush and Linda Waheed; two sons, William L. Tillery and Johnnie M. Tillery; a sister, Daisy Williams; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Mount Zion Community Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Willie R. McNair. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
