Paul Liverman, of the 6400 block of Claire Road, went to his heavenly reward Jan. 7, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Liverman, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Liverman, was born Sept. 2, 1911. He had retired from the Naval Supply Center as a packer after 30 years. He was also an Army veteran. He was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church, where he worked faithfully until his illness. He was a member of the Usher Board, the Laymen, and the Brock Hunter Fellowship.
He leaves to cherish two nephews, Horace E. Duke of Philadelphia and Clinton Duke of Portsmouth; three great-nieces of Norfolk, Joyce D. Skinner, Barbara Arrington and Daphne Saunders; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and his best friend, Mr. Louis Kelly.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John's A.M.E. Church by the Rev. I.W. Knight. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Graves Funeral Home in charge.
