John Xavier Garcia Jr., 4-months-old infant, of the 5500 block of Dunloe Drive, died Jan. 7, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
He was born in Portsmouth on Sept. 2, 1995. He was a Catholic.
He is survived by his parents, John X. Garcia Sr. and Nicola Ann McLandsborough Garcia, both of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:15 p.m. today by Lt. Cmdr. James Melley in Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Oceana Naval Air Station. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the S.I.D.S. Foundation. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
