Kathleen Snow Humphreys Lane, 77, of the 3600 block of Moore Road, died Jan. 9, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
She was a retired registered nurse with Maryview Hospital for more than 30 years. She was a native of Greenville, W.Va., and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Connie G. Lane of Portsmouth; a sister, Anna Mae Humphreys of Franklin, W.Va.; a granddaughter and her husband, Shauna M. Lane-Gile and Stephen Gile, both of Portsmouth; a great-grandson, Joseph Gregory DiTommaso; two nephews, Alvy Humphreys III and Robert Humphreys; three great-nieces, Becky, Cassie, and Katie; two great-nephews, Robbie and Tom; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Humphreys of Franklin, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvy F. and Beamy G. Humphreys; her son, Gregory Walter Lane, and her brother, Franklin Humphreys.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
