Linda Mae Gentry, 74, of the 500 block of Timothy Ave., died Jan. 8, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Gentry, the widow of Raymond Fred Gentry, was a native of Hornet County, N.C. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters: Judy and her husband, Bobby Midgette, of Buxton, N.C., and Shirley and her husband, Larry Augustine, of Raleigh, N.C.; two sons, Joseph Norman Callahan and Franklin Callahan, both of Norfolk; a sister, Inez Smith of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
