Haydn Rubelmann Jr., 40, of 4H Pueblo Drive, died Jan. 7, 1996.
Mr. Rubelmann, a native of Portsmouth, worked for Airline TV in Portsmouth as an electronic technician. He was a Baptist. Mr. Rubelmann was a member of the D.A.V., Chesapeake Chess Foundation, Moose Lodge, and was active as an amature radio operator. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and received his discharge on Feb. 19, 1979. He graduated from Indian River High School in 1974 and earned an associates degree in applied science from Tidewater Community College in 1992 graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey J. Rubelmann; a daughter, Holley Christine Rubelmann of Portsmouth; a son, Haydn Rubelmann III of Ochee, Fla.; his parents, Edna B. Rubelmann and Haydn Rubelmann Sr., both of Chesapeake; two sisters, Ramona Lynn Young of Chesapeake and Sondra Blakeman of Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Alvin Rubelmann of Germany.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Allen Dooley. Burial will be at a later date. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
