I read ``USPS Grinch'' and ``Late again' (letters, Jan. 4). I, too, have suffered with my mail disappearing into thin air, and the U.S. Postal Service cannot explain where the mail is or what is happening to it.
I have never received my son's report card from several years ago, even though the school has our correct address and it was never returned to the sender.
I have never received an order mailed to my address, even though my neighbors received their order and it was mailed at the same time as mine. (This order also was never returned to the sender.)
Now I have tax and credit-card bills disappearing into the Bermuda Triangle of the U.S. Postal Service. These bills also were sent to my correct address and have never been returned to the sender.
As for the above letter writers: I am sorry their mail is late, but it could be worse.
