Doris Rose Jones, 74, of the 9500 block of Cape View Ave., died Jan. 9, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Jones, the widow of Clarence W. Jones, was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church. She was retired from Civil Service at the Naval Supply Center. She was a member of Bay View Civic League and the National Association Retired Federal Employees.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce J. and John McMillian of Norfolk; a brother, Harold T. Noble Jr. of Washington State; and three grandchildren, Christi, Paul and Daniel.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. David N. Clay. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and at other times at 9528 Cape View Ave., Norfolk.
