Thomas Franklin Trummell Jr., 77, died Jan. 10, 1996, in Portsmouth.
He was retired from Borden Chemical in Chesapeake and was a native of South Mills, N.C. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by two sisters, Mable D. Bell of Portsmouth and Marietta MacMorris of Cambridge, Md.; a niece; and three nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Thorton Frye in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, is in charge.
