Nathyln Williams Tate, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1996, in Portsmouth.
She was a member of Ginter Park Presbyterian Church, Richmond. She was the widow of Robert Oscar Tate Jr. and was a former member of Second Presbyterian Church, Newport News, Va. She was past president of Chamberlain Farms Womens Club of Richmond.
She is survived by one son, W. Roy Tate of Hampton; one daughter, Nancy Tate MeHaffey of Clemmons, N.C.; four grandchildren, Wendy Lynn Tate, Michael Christopher Tate, Paul Glenn MeHaffey, and Jenifer Louise MeHaffey.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Donations may be made to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 250 Fox Hill Road, Hampton, Va. 23669. Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
