Sheila P. Jordan
VIRGINIA BEACH - Sheila Pauline Jordan, of the 1400 block of Deer Pond Lane, died Jan. 6, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was a finance clerk in the business office at Portsmouth General Hospital. She was a member of Agapae International Church officiating, Agapae International. She served faithfully as a member of the Agapae Worship Team, Lovenet Pastor and Teleministry Director. She also volunteered for the Crisis Pregnancy Center. She was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Ajene Hamani Jordon of Virginia Beach; her mother, Jennett Jackson of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Arist Lorraine Foulks, Thelma Phyllis Mathis, both of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Marvin Mathis Jr. and Wayne Keith Mathis, both of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Jacques V. Mathis.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Rock Church, Virginia Beach, by Pastor Clarence McPherson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. There will be a wake service from 7 to 8 p.m. at Rock Church Friday. The remains will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at 1424 Woodbridge Trail, Virginia Beach, at noon Saturday. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
