Richard Walter Schaaf, 48, of the 100 block of Runaway Bay Drive, died Jan. 9, 1996, as the result of an auto accident.
He was self-employed at Schaaf Cleaning Service and was a native of Queens, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Warren Schaaf; daughter, Jennifer Schaaf of Long Island, N.Y.; two step daughters, Tara Wilson of Woodbridge, Va., and Allison Hollhan of the home; son, Richard Schaaf of Long Island; sister, Margaret Schaaf Brown of Richmond; brother, Robert Schaaf of Raleigh, N.C.; father and mother-in-law, Hubert J. and Jean Zeppitelli Warren; sister-in-law, Patty and Ina Wright of Virginia Beach, sister-in-law, Brenda and Thomas Stisco of Long Island, and sister-in-law, Denise Dana Sutton of Arkansas.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Pastor Kenneth R. Carbaugh in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial is in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
