CONSTITUENT HOTLINE

Constituents can voice their opinions on legislative issues during the 1996 General Assembly session by calling the toll-free Constituent Viewpoint hotline at (800) 889-0229.

Calls will be taken from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. each legislative workday through March 9.

Constituent Viewpoint operators will request that callers provide their name and address, their geographic location or legislative district, which legislator the caller wishes the message to go to, and the issue on which they are expressing their opinion.

The message will be recorded and the information will be forwarded to the legislators for their review.

If additional information concerning legislation or direct conversation with a legislator is requested, the caller will be provided with the appropriate number.

Constituent Viewpoint, provided by the General Assembly, allows citizens to express their views on the issues before the General Assembly.
