Willie Roger ``Boxcar'' Powell, 50, of the 7000 block of University Drive, died Jan. 5, 1996, in his home. Mr. Powell was a native of Littleton, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Casandra Powell, Bonja Keywanne Powell; two sisters, Evelyn Bowser of Littleton, Dorothy Powell of Harrisburg, Pa.; a brother, Frank Powell of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Nikita Powell, Chelsea Powell, Diamond Powell; a companion, Lillian McLane; three nieces; and four nephews.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today in Littleton. Green Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
