Katherine C. Vann, 73, formerly of Richmond, died Jan. 10, 1996.
Mrs. Vann was employed with C & P Telephone for 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, William E. Vann; her children, Alice C. Gregory of Virginia Beach, Harry ``Guy'' Collier of Potomac, Md.; and step-daughter, Ruth Lynn Van Swah of Memphis, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Leigh Collier, Jill Collier, and Suzanne Collier; and step-grandchildren, Ashleigh Swah, Carrie Gregory and John Gregory.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Community United Methodist Church, 1072 Old Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va., where services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
