LOUISE S. MAUPIN

Louise Shuping Maupin, 94, of the 7700 block of Shirland Ave., died Jan. 11, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Maupin, the widow of John W. Maupin, was a native of Asheville, N.C. She grew up in Salisbury, N.C., and lived in Norfolk since 1933. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Doris L. Bolling of Norfolk, Paige M. Rose of Singer Island, Fla.; a sister, Mary S. Little of Richmond; a brother, Robert F. Shuping of Laguna Hills, Calif.; two granddaughters, Trevor Pratt of Boston, Ryan Rose of Boca Raton, Fla.; two grandsons, James E. Bolling of Simpsonville, S.C., John E. Bolling of Norfolk; six great-grandchildren, Michelle Bolling, Brian Bolling, Todd Bolling, all of Norfolk, Trent Bolling of Houston, Chad Bolling of Greenville, S.C., Matthew Bolling of Aurora, Colo.; and two great-great-grandchildren, Briana and Brian Bolling of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Chapel of Talbot Park Baptist Church by Dr. Harry T. Dixon and the Rev. Keith Martin. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Doris L. Bolling, 7713 North Shirland Ave., A-1, Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to a charity or church of choice. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
