Blanche Bryan Borum, 73, of the 400 block of Brackenridge Ave., died Jan. 11, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Borum, a native of Pitt County, N.C., was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William Borum; two daughters, Elizabeth B. Mangum of Norfolk, Paula L. Bristol of Smithfield, N.C.; a son, William R. Borum of Wake Forest, N.C.; two sisters, Tunis Bryant of Wilmington, N.C., Doris Rosenberger of Isle of Wight County, Va.; four grandchildren, Ann M. Walters of Ayden, N.C., Kelly Bristol of Smithfield, N.C., Brittany Bristol of Smithfield, N.C., and Phillip Mangum of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home by Dr. Tim Dixon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
