Joe Nathan ``BaBoy'' Plummer Sr., 29, of the 2000 block of Chestnut St., died Jan. 10, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Plummer, a native of Portsmouth, was a member of First Baptist Church, Taylorsville.
Survivors include his wife, Lucinia Plummer; a daughter, Jamie S. Chapman of Portsmouth; three sons, Joseph Daniels, Joe N. Plummer Jr., and Jamonte Plummer, all of Portsmouth; his mother, Frances P. Woodley of Portsmouth; a sister, Mildred Plummer Bell of Portsmouth; three brothers, James C. Plummer, Jenis L. Plummer and William Jerome Woodley, all of Portsmouth; two aunts, Deloris Harrington and Catherine Cutle, both of Portsmouth; an uncle, Charlie Plummer of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Joe C. Woodley.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in New First Baptist Church by Dr. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday in Serenity Funeral Home, Portsmouth, and 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the church. Family and friends will assemble at 2015 Chestnut St., Portsmouth at 11:15 a.m. Monday for the procession to the church.
