Dorothy Burke Subers, a resident of Norfolk, died Friday, Jan. 12, 1996.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Samuel Maler Subers and the daughter of John Edward and Mary Callan Burke.
Survivors include a sister, Miriam Burke Dean of Virginia Beach; and four nephews, Philip Dale Dean Jr. of Arlington, Va., F. Edmund Burke Jr. of Greensboro, N.C., John P. Burke of Pasadena, Calif., Leigh R. Burke of Tucson, Ariz.; and great nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be conducted and interment will be at Saint Mary's Cemetery. Father John J. Dorgan of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norfolk, will conduct the burial service. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Mary's Infant Home, Norfolk.
