Edward Martin Bedlow Sr., 77, of Pamplin, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1996. He was the husband of the late Stella Peggy Bedlow.
Born in New Jersey, Nov. 2, 1918, he was a son of the late Edward and Sarah Martin Bedlow. He was a retired Navy chief and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a son, Edward M. (Marty) Bedlow Jr. of Moyock, N.C.; a daughter, Judith B. Best of Chesapeake; a foster son, Brett Taylor of Chesapeake, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., today at Robinson Funeral Home in Appomattox, with burial in Liberty Cemetery.
