RANDOLPH BRITTON

Randolph Britton, 73, of the 200 block of North Curtis St., died Jan. 12, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

He was a retired electrician and a native of Hertford, N.C. He was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church, Ahoskie, and was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Eddins Britton of Ahoskie; two daughters, Pat Britton of Raleigh and Debby Townsend of Robersonville, S.C.; two sisters, Hazel Evans of Greenville, N.C. and Dorothy Harrell of Ohio; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Herman Hicks and the Rev. Robert May in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ahoskie Rescue Squad.
