BODY FOUND

The body of a man was found about 9 a.m. Friday in an abandoned storage shed in the 400 block of Denbigh Blvd.

Police are treating the death as a homicide. Preliminary autopsy results indicate the man, who has not been identified, died of a gunshot.

The man is believed to have been in his early 40s, said Patricia L. Mahaffy, a police spokeswoman.

Police believe the victim may have been driving a 1989 silver, four-door Mitsubishi Galant with Virginia license plates ZAX-5 just before his death, Mahaffy said.
