Dorothy B. Bryant, 84, of the 4800 block of Norvella Ave., died Jan. 12, 1996, in Hillhaven.
Mrs. Bryant was born in Richmond and was the widow of Andrew B. Bryant. She was a member of Norview United Methodist Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by a son, Jerry B. Bryant of Portsmouth; two sisters, Beulah Graham of Williamsburg and Alice Humphries of Colonial Heights, Va.; two brothers, Douglas Brizendine Jr. and Carol Brizendine, both of Richmond; two grandchildren, Misty Lynn Gibson and Michele Adrian Bryant; and one great-grandchild, Daniel A. Gibson.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park. The Rev. John F. Shappell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
