Andoch Arsaint Burnett, 72, of the 500 block of W. Little Creek Road, died Jan. 12, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Burnett was born in New London, Conn., and had retired after 20 years as a Chief Petty Officer in the Coast Guard. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. He was also a member of the D.A.V., Chapter 4; a member of the Armed Guard and the Senior Citizens Club at Ocean View.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis I. Burnett; three daughters, Marion I. Gutman of Libertyville, Ill., Priscilla Amy King of Charlotte, N.C., and Virginia A. Burnett of Ponte Vedra, Fla.; two sisters, Hyacinth McAllister of Oakland, Calif. and Hazel Pinkerton of Groton, Conn.; and four grandchildren, Christopher Cohoon, Beth Cohoon, Jon King and Jessica King.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
