Jane Catherine Foote, 77, died Jan. 13, 1996.
Mrs. Foote was a native of Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Mrs. Foote was a former member of the Sea Sprite Circle of the Kings Daughters.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cmdr. Edward James Foote, U.S. Navy retired; two sons, William Michael Foote of Haiku, Maui, David James Foote of Norfolk; a daughter, Cathy Foote McGrath of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Leslie A. McGrath, Joseph D. McGrath, both of Virginia, and Erin Makahii Foote of Malibu, Calif.
A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 17, 1996, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Father William V. Sullivan. Burial will be at Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 20 Koger Executive Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Laskin Road Chapel are handling arrangements.
