Ruth E. McMichael
VIRGINIA BEACH - Ruth Elizabeth McMichael, 74, of the 4000 block of Ferry Plantation Circle, died Jan. 10, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mrs. McMichael, a native of Boston, Mass., had been trained as a biochemist and was a 1945 graduate of Simmons College in Boston. She was a member of the Navy Relief Society.
Survivors include her husband, Capt. Allen E. McMichael, MSC, U.S. Navy retired; and a niece, Mrs. Walter ``Linda'' Reynolds of Upperco, Md.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be at sea. The family requests that flowers be omitted and suggest that memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 388, Norfolk, Va. 23501.
