Joseph Davidson Agnor, 72, of the 200 block of Lenore Trail, beloved husband and father, died Saturday Jan. 13, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Agnor was born in Lexington, Va., and was the son of the late Edward and Reona Agnor. He had retired as project engineer for the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation after 23 years of service. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Chesapeake, and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Anne D. Agnor of Chesapeake; his daughter, Patsy Lassiter of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; and his son, Ronald D. Agnor also of Chesapeake; two brothers, Elwood Agnor of Norfolk and Roscoe Agnor of Newport News; three grandchildren, Ronald W. Josey, Melissa J. Wescott and Jennifer I. Agnor; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. W. Roberts McIvor. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
