HAZEL E. MCCULLOUGH

Hazel E. McCullough, 81, a homemaker, died Jan. 13, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mrs. McCullough, the widow of William H. McCullough, was a native of Palmyra, N.Y. She attended First Church of God in Norfolk. She was a member of the Girl Scouts in the Oakdale Farms area in Norfolk, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 767.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois C. Peterson of Washington, Va., Peggy A. Dungan of Peoria, Ill., Susan L. Howard of Chesapeake; a sister, Ruth L. Scales of Rouses Point, N.Y.; five brothers, Charles A. Cookman of Rotunda, Fla., Fay Martin of Manassas, Va., Paul Martin of Englewood, Fla., Roy Martin of Norfolk, Floyd Martin of California, Md.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Carl L. Cooper. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts Camp Fund.
