Neal F. Gore, 93, died Jan. 14, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Gore was born in Horry County, S.C., and was the widower of Bessie Stokes Hardee Gore. He was a retired self-employed tobacco farmer after 80 years. He was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church in Longs, S.C. He was predeceased by a son, Neal Franklin Gore Jr., and a grandchild, Kay Hardee Wright.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Gore Hardee of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Sue Benson of Tacoma, Wash., Barbara Stephens of Virginia Beach, Robert Hardee of Virginia Beach, Gina Gore Todd of Loris, S.C., and Neal Franklin Gore III of Loris, S.C.; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The body will be sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynn-haven Chapel to Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris, S.C., for services and burial. Burial will be in Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
