William Henry Marsh, of the 300 block of Dunn St., died Jan. 14, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Marsh was born in Ahoskie, N.C., and was a retired chipper for Dewey Brothers of Virginia, Norfolk after 10 years. He was a member of Saint John's Baptist Church, Ahoskie, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Shelba G. Marsh of Chesapeake; four daughters, Marilyn Y. Marsh, Rolethia L. Reap, Melinda Marsh and Jennifer M. Marsh, all of Norfolk; two sons, William H. Marsh Jr. and Marvin W. Marsh of Norfolk; his father, Leo Marsh of Ahoskie, N.C.; a sister, Carolyn E. Simmons of Westbury, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Don Coley in Saint John's Baptist Church, Ahoskie, N.C. Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.
