Mabel H. Hollowell, died Jan. 14, 1996, in Courtland Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Hollowell was a native of Tyner, N.C., and she was the widow of Ray F. Hollowell. Mrs. Hollowell was the daughter of the late Fornia Briggs Humphllett and Louis N. Humphllett. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Louis T. Hollowell, and his wife, Rosa of Carrsville; two sisters, Hazel Blanchard of Tyner, N.C., and Marie Hollowell of Murfreesboro, N.C.; brother, Ulysess Humphllett of Tyner, N.C.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Westlawn Memorial Park in Elizabeth City, N.C., by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. The family will receive friends at the home of Louis and Rosa Hollowell. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
