Richard M. Jennings, 83, of the first block of Buchanan Place, died Jan. 7, 1996, at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Mr. Jennings, a Catholic, was born in New York. He had retired from Simons-Linburn as a stock analyst.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Catherine M. Jennings; a daughter, Mary G. Jennings of New York; a son, Richard B. Jennings and wife, Lauren, of Virginia Beach; a brother, John Jennings of New York; and granddaughter, Tara Jennings of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by Father Luke Policicchio. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, where a Christian wake will be held at 7 p.m.
