Ethel B. Haskett, 96, of the 1400 block of Dure Road, died Jan. 16, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Haskett, the widow of Leroy Hamilton Haskett, was a native of Smithfield County, N.C. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Edenton, N.C., and Order of the Eastern Star, Edenton.
Survivors include a sister, Ruth Jones of Smithfield; a grandchild, Kent Haskett of Norfolk; two stepgrandchildren, Tony Wasco and Mark Haskett; and a great-granddaughter, Meridith Haskett of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Beaver Hill Cemetery, Edenton, by Dr. Louis Batzler. The family will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Virginia Heights Baptist Church Home Bound Fund, or First Presbyterian Church, Edenton.
