Lowell Guy Andrews, 74, of 1416 Berkshire Lane, passed away Jan. 15, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Andrews was born in Norfolk and graduated from Maury High School. She was the daughter of Walter Franklin Guy and Imogene Lowell Guy. She lived for many years in San Francisco where she was employed by the Fairmont Hotel Corporation. Upon her retirement she returned to Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her brother, Capt. Walter Franklin Guy Jr. USCG (Ret.) of Savannah, Ga.; cousins, Trenholm Lowell Brownley and Claud P. Brownley III of Virginia Beach, Frank H. Lowell of Norfolk, Lucia Hamilton McGlaughlin of Beulaville, N.C., and John Bird Lowell Jr. of Plantation, Fla.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Galilee Episcopal Church by Reverend John D. Burley. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Norfolk. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Cancer Research Foundation of America, 200 Daingerfeild Road, Suite 200, Alexandria, Va. 22314. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
