Brittany M. Reese, 4 1/2 months, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She is survived by her parents, Donna Marie Gates Reese and Christopher D. Reese of Portsmouth; paternal grandparents, Keith S. and Dianne D. Reese of Valdosta, Ga.; maternal grandparents, John J. and Peggy S. Gates of Virginia Beach; maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Lucille Bailey of Battle Creek, Mich.; paternal great-grandmother, Ruby Walker of Valdosta; paternal great-grandfather, Carlton Walker of Lake Park, Ga.; and paternal great-grandparents, Les and Gayle Reese of Hartstown, Pa.; and a great-great-grandmother, Nancy Smith, also of Hartstown, Pa.; three uncles, Jason Reese, Ron Gates, and Michael Summerlin and one aunt, Laurie Summerlin and a cousin, Brett Bailey.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, 1996, at 3 p.m., Chaplain Robert Evans presiding. Burial will be in Babyland at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family extends visitation to friends on Thursday from noon until 9 p.m. Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel in charge of arrangements.
