AUBREY L. VINSON

Aubrey Lee Vinson, 75, of Route 1, died Jan. 17, 1996, in his home.

Mr. Vinson, a retired farmer, was a native of Hertford County, N.C. He was a member of Meherrin Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. Mr. Vinson was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Smith Vinson; two daughters, Faith Vinson of Murfreesboro, Hope Vinson Clark of Macclesfield, N.C.; a son, Aubrey Steve Vinson of Morven, N.C.; three sisters, Velma Ladner, Grace Wheeler, both of Portsmouth, Clonie Vinson Bolt of Bel Air, Md.; two brothers, John Elton Vinson of Ahoskie, N.C., Elmer L. Vinson of Carrollton, Va.; and a grandson, Aubrey Edgar Vinson of Morven.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Meherrin Baptist Church by the Rev. Billy Sellers. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is in charge.
