Linda Diane Pashinski, 37, died Jan. 17, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Pashinski, a native of Cadillac, Mich., was a seamstress for Stitchworks for one and half years. She worked for the U.S. Navy for seven years at the Beach Master Unit at Little Creek. She was a graduate of Manton High School, Manton, Mich., Class of 1976. She served in Desert Storm with Master Unit II.
Survivors include her husband, John Robert Pashinski Sr. of Virginia Beach; a son, Cody Edward Pashinski of Virginia Beach; her mother, Fern Tidey of Manton; two sisters, Shelia Helsel and her husband, Doug, of Lake City, Mich., Barbara Akers and her husband, Tom, of Manton; a brother, Michael Tidey and his wife, Vickie, of Manton; maternal grandmother, Effie Ashby of Manton. She was predeceased by her father, Keith Tidey.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cody E. Pashinski Education Trust Fund, c/o Pamela Moore, 3309 Turtle Rock Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
