Ford's Synergy 2010, left, is a hybrid electric vehicle that runs on
gasoline and electricity. Its all-aluminum unibody construction cuts
weight by 400 pounds. Chrysler's Dodge Intrepid ESX, right, has an
extreme cab-forward design to conserve space. The ESX unibody is 100
percent aluminum.
The Lincoln Sentinel features the ``New Edge'' look that produces
edge highlights where curved planes intersect.
