Patricia Ann Cooper Marchi, 52, of the 400 block of Nottinghill Park, died Jan. 18, 1996, in Virginia Beach Health Care & Rehabilitation, of natural causes.
She was a native of Drift, Ky., and was a loving wife and mother. She thought of others before herself and will be missed by all who knew her. Her family was her life. She worked as a cosmetologist.
She is survived by her husband, John Bruno Marchi of the home; daughter, Penny Hughes Green of Virginia Beach; stepdaughter, Eleanor Roberts of San Diego, Calif.; son, Roger Dale Hughes of Ocala, Fla.; two stepsons, Darcy Marchi of Virginia Beach and Mark Marchi of San Diego; two sisters, Geraldine Storm of Ontario, Calif., and Pal Gayhart of Bradenton, Fla.; brother, Jackie Cooper of Cincinnati, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Sunday by the Rev. Warren Wilson in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel.
