Grand larceny, 1900 block of Coral Ave. Missing: 1993 Chevrolet Blazer, white, license ZRB-8987. Dec. 20.

Attempted armed robbery, 2000 block of Pond Lane. The victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by six black males wearing jeans and dark hoods. An armed suspect demanded that the victim hand over his vehicle key. Then the victim was struck. Dec. 20.

Attempted robbery, 2000 block of Pond Lane. Six men approached the victim's car. One displayed a handgun and demanded keys to the vehicle. As the victim walked away from the vehicle, he was struck. All were black males, wearing jeans and dark hoods. Dec. 20.

Armed robbery, 1100 block of Bainbridge Blvd., Asia Carry Out. The suspect leaned over the counter, pointed a dark revolver at the owner and demanded money. Description of suspect. black male, 6-feet-3-inches, 195 pounds, wore a black coat with blue jean and a ski mask. Dec. 23.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Armed robbery, 3200 block of Churchland Blvd. One man watched while a second male grabbed the victim's arms then snatched her purse. She had been in the process of locking the outside doors of the business. Description of suspects: Both were black males, both were about 5 feet 10 inches, both were medium build and wore black face masks and green fatigue jackets. Dec. 25.

Armed robbery, 2200 block of N. Bugle Drive. As she was getting out of her car, an armed man approached the victim and took her purse. Description of suspect: black male, 5 feet 7 inches, 140 pounds, wore thick bulky headgear with a dark gray sweat top and charcoal Army style pants. Dec. 30.

Armed robbery, 4200 block of Hawksley Drive. The woman was robbed at gunpoint while walking from her car to her house. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, 5 feet 7 inches, wore bulky head gear. No. 2, black male. Dec. 30.

Attempted carjacking, 4100 block of Chesapeake Square Blvd., Red Lobster. While victim was sitting in a vehicle with the engine running, three juveniles approached her. One male struck the window with the barrel of a gun and demanded that she open the door. When the victim began blowing the horn, the suspects fled. Description of suspects: No. 1, white male, mid teens, 5 feet 6 inches, 140 pounds, blond, wore a long brown coat and black hood. The other two suspects were white males, mid teens, wearing blue windbreakers and sweaters. Dec. 30.

Residential burglary, 3500 block of Dunedin Drive. Missing: Cort acoustic guitar, two televisions, videocassette recorder, cassette player with speakers, five Nintendo game cartridges, Sega Genesis game system, 16 compact discs and jewelry. Between Dec. 22 and Jan. 2.

Residential burglary, 1600 block of Sandy Pines Way. Missing: Seiko watch and two silver rings. Jan. 1 or 2.

Grand larceny, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd. Missing: white Ford tailgate. Dec. 22.

Armed robbery, 3500 block of Joyce Court. As the woman victim was getting out of her car, someone came up behind her. A second suspect placed a gun in her stomach and snatched her purse. Description of suspects: No. 1, white male, mid teens, 5 feet 10 inches, 150 pounds, blond hair, wore a black hooded shirt and blue jeans. No. 2, white male, mid teens, 5 feet 10 inches, 150 pounds, brown hair, wore a black hooded shirt and blue jeans. Dec. 21.

Residential burglary, 2400 block of Woodbaugh Drive. Missing: a five-disc compact disc changer, television, compact disc player, Sega Genesis game system, Sega Saturn game system, cellular phone, crock pot, amethyst ring gold band and two gold bracelets. Dec. 20.

Residential burglary, 4100 block of Rhonda Crescent. Missing: Reebok black/white shoes and a pair of Nike green/black/white shoes. Dec. 21.

Armed robbery, 3900 block of Portsmouth Blvd. The victim was making a night deposit at First Union Bank when an armed man came out of the bushes and demanded the money bag. Description of suspect: 5 feet 10 inches, 165 pounds, slim build, wore a black hat, dark green sweatshirt and baggy dark pants. Dec. 22.

Armed robbery, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd., J.C. Penney parking lot. While victim was putting packages into the vehicle trunk, a man grabbed her purse and snatched it off her shoulder. Description of suspect: white male, 6 feet 3 inches, 195 pounds wore a black coat, blue jeans and a ski mask. Dec. 23.
