Curtis L. Bentley died Jan. 21, 1996, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; a son, Curtis Harold Bentley; a daughter, Karen Bentley Ward, and two grandchildren, Krist Ann Bentley and John Stephen Ward Jr. He is also survived by his mother, two brothers and four sisters, all of Big Stone Gap, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Tommy J. Taylor. Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, is handling arrangements.
