Mary Sue Gibson, 88, of Lakeland, Fla., and formerly of Norfolk, died Jan. 17, 1996, at Lakeland Healthcare Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ocean View Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Mrs. Gibson was the daughter of the late Oscar D. and Cordelia Harmon Hartman and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Gibson.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Shepard of Lakeland, Fla., and Betty M. Curry of Orlando; one sister, Hay Robinson of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1996, at 11 a.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk by Dr. David Clay.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Twiford Funeral Home, Ghent Chapel, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
